Now that I am home after my second hip replacement surgery and all is well it gives me great pleasure to announce I will be teaching a class in Creative Practice for the Griffin Museum of Photography that starts in March.

I made this group on the way to teach at Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina in June 2012. An empty motel that is closed and abandoned is too good to pass up.
It was flat and gray out with a threatening sky and about 101F degrees. Sometimes you have to work quickly and this was one of those times. It started to rain as I finished
The prints are 23 x 15 inches.
