A few posts ago I used a photograph by Gary Winogrand and called it a "miracle".
Well, this week in the NY Times the paper shows off another photographer's work taken on the streets of Manhattan. These are by Lee Friedlander, who is 80 years old but still on the prowl. It seems he's looking at our current preoccupation with our cel phones:
Friedlander is among those that defined street photography in the 50's and 60's.
